January 12, (THEWILL)- Olajide Adediran, aka Jandor, Lagos State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has stated the reason he picked Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, as his running mate.
He made this known on Thursday, on the Sunrise Daily show on Channels TV.
When asked why he picked a popular face to be his running mate, Jandor responded, “I didn’t choose Funke Akindele because she’s a popular face.
“I chose her because she’s qualified, even if she wants to be governor of this state.
“What is wrong with her? This is somebody that has invested so much in this economy, somebody who has been an employer of labour in this economy”, he stated.
