… Blames Suspension On His Exposure Of Leakages In Oil Revenue
BEVERLY HILLS, February 20, (THEWILL) – The suspended controversial Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has reacted to his suspension by President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday.
In an interview with CNBC Africa, the banker hinted that he would challenge his suspension in court, saying the President acted arbitrarily and does not have the power to either suspend or remove the Governor of the CBN.
Sanusi further revealed that his letter of suspension was signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.
