SAN FRANCISCO, June 04, (THEWILL) – Rampaging Boko Haram Thursday in Maiduguri struck again as a female suicide bomber detonated a bomb near a military checkpoint along Baga road, killing two persons.
The incident, which happened around 6pm sent shivers down the spines of the residents of the troubled town as they scampered for safety.
Borno State Police Commissioner, Mr. Aderemi Opadokun, while confirming the bombing to THEWILL correspondent said, “It is true there was a suicide attack near a Military Check Point,” stressing that two persons died while three others were injured in the attack.
