February 13, (THEWILL) – Pesident Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, received the Nigeria football national team, Super Eagles, at the Council Chambers of the State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
THEWIL reports that all the team members and officials were in attendance.
The President had on Monday, commended the Super Eagles for their “tenacious performance” in the Africa Cup of Nations tournament held in Ivory Coast.
Although the Super Eagles were ultimately defeated by the hosts in the final, President Tinubu had highlighted the team’s hard work, sacrifice and ability to overcome significant hurdles on their way to the final.
