September 03, (THEWILL) — President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Prince Adetokunbo Ademola Ade-John as his Senior Special Assistant on Transportation and Mobility.
A statement to the effect, said the appointment took effect on August 27, 2026, and is subject to the terms and conditions of service contained in the Certain Political, Public and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2008.
In his new capacity, the presidential aide is expected to assist President Tinubu in strengthening coordination and ensuring effective implementation of policies across key institutions within the transportation sector.
The Presidency said the appointment is part of efforts to advance the administration’s transportation and mobility agenda, with Ade-John expected to bring his previous government and political experience to bear on the assignment.
Ade-John previously served as Special Assistant to the Minister of Tourism.
He is also described as a grassroots politician and APC Apex Youth Leader across the globe.
His new responsibility places him within the Presidency’s support structure for transportation policy at a time when the Federal Government continues to pursue reforms and investments aimed at improving mobility and transportation infrastructure across the country.
