SAN FRANCISCO, September 17, (THEWILL) – Oluwatoyin Nwosu, the abducted wife of the Deputy Managing Director of The Sun Newspaper, Mr. Steve Nwosu, has been released by her captors.
She was dropped off at the Amuwo Odofin First Gate in the wee hours of Thursday, according to reports.
It was not clear whether the N100m (about $500K) ransom demand was paid.
Kidnapping for a ransom is a common occurrence in southern Nigeria.
