SAN FRANCISCO, June 01, (THEWILL) – In celebration of her 90th birthday, Queen Elizabeth II and her Corgis posed for a series of exclusive portraits for Vanity Fair’s summer Issue.
Captured in the Queen’s home at Windor Castle, photographer Annie Leibovitz revealed that the photos were all the Queen’s idea. ‘She wanted to be photographed with her grand children and great grand children; her husband Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburg; her daughter Ann, the Princess Royal; and her corgis. I was told how relaxed she was at Windsor, and how at peace she she was with herself, and very much enthralled with her family, ” said the photographer.
The Corgis on the cover include; Holly (held), Willow, Vulcan and Candy (L-R).
