September 09, (THEWILL) – Upcoming music artiste, Ekeh Joseph, also known as Majeed, has taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to reveal that music director, ThankGod Omori, charged N90 million to shoot a music video for him.
He uploaded the music director’s picture while he was working and and revealed how much he was charged for the shoot.
Reacting to the post, Emeka Akumefule, professionally known as Blaqbonez, sarcastically made a calculation and revealed he would also become a music director since it’s all about the money and not about passion.
He used the picture of Nigerian footballer, Odion Ighalo, smiling when he joined Saudi Pro League last month to express his feeling about the news.
And captioned the post “We shooting for money not passion.”
Above the picture, he made a sarcastic calculation of how much $99 is in naira.
“$99 = N89 million”, he wrote.
Majeeed also playfully informed Blaqbonez that he should help him work on his music video ‘Shayo’.
“My brother, can I please get video treatment for ‘Shayo’ featuring Lekan Osifeso, aka, Lojay.
“I trust you go deliver”, he wrote
Recall that a few months ago, Blaqbonez lamented bitterly about the amount TG Omori charged him to record his song, ‘Back in Uni’.
He later shot the music video himself and was applauded by fans who loved his creative prowess.
