“Adeleke did so much for civil servants! I’ve never seen my mum happier!
“She got promoted and her salaries arrived at the appropriate time! God I’m so scared of Adeleke losing this election. I’m worried about my mom and other civil servants,” she wrote.
The post quickly attracted widespread attention before drawing a personal response from Governor Adeleke himself.
In a message that many users described as reassuring and compassionate, the governor sought to allay the young woman’s fears.
“Your mum has nothing to worry about. It gives me great joy to see that civil servants that once suffered to the point of begging for food under the previous administration are now self-sufficient. Tell your mum to tell her colleagues, more goodies are coming, we are winning,” Adeleke wrote on Friday.

“While some people sought to derail our progress, we refused to be distracted and we have now completed and delivered the 10-span Oke Fia Flyover, a project that answers Osogbo’s cry for freedom from gridlock. This is what delivery looks like,” he said.
Describing the project as more than concrete and steel, Adeleke said it represented deliberate governance aimed at improving daily life.
“Infrastructure that works. Connectivity that empowers. Economic vitality unlocked at the heart of our capital. This is deliberate governance, the kind that transforms daily life, not merely promises to.
“The 10-span Oke Fia Flyover is now open, untangling our streets, energising commerce and fulfilling a promise our administration will not break. This is what happens when leadership prioritises delivery over excuses.
“Modern infrastructure. Real impact. A future Osun can depend on. This is the Osun we envisioned and this is the Osun we are building.”
