BEVERLY HILLS, July 17, (THEWILL) – Tamar Braxton, the Grammy nominated singer and sister of Toni Braxton, has been hospitalized after police found her unresponsive in her downtown Los Angeles Ritz Carlton luxury high-rise residence following a suspected overdose and in a bid to commit suicide.
According to reports, officers were called about 9:45 p.m. on Thursday to the Ritz Carlton Residences in the 900 block of Olympic Boulevard, where a woman was found unresponsive and unconscious, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
She was transported to California Hospital Medical Center, located about a mile from the tower, which is about two blocks from the Staple Center.

Tamar and her husband, Vincent Herbert divorced in 2019.
