Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’

President Bola Tinubu has mourned veteran Nollywood actor, filmmaker and screenwriter Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, following his death at the age of 66.

Yinka Quadri and Dele Odule broke down in tears as they paid their final respects to veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, during his funeral rites in Ilaro, Ogun State. The emotional scenes unfolded as family members, friends and colleagues gathered to bid the Yoruba film icon a final farewell.

Ogogo is scheduled to be buried in his hometown, Ilaro, Ogun State, today, Monday, August 24. His remains have arrived in the town, where large crowds gathered to receive him ahead of his final rites.
