President Bola Tinubu has signed the amended 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, extending the implementation period of the budget from September 30 to December 31, 2026.

Fubara assented to the budget on Thursday at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, describing the legislation as a significant departure that could usher in a new phase of development and cooperation between the executive and legislative arms of government.
