February 14, (THEWILL) – The suspended Ondo State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Fatai Adams, is dead.
A source familiar with the development told THEWILL that the former chairman was rushed to the hospital, where he died on Tuesday. He had complained of headaches in his home in Ikare, the source added.
Ondo State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Kennedy Peretei, confirmed the sad development on Wednesday.
“Yes it is true but we will soon communicate to you properly on the incident”, he said.
His death came 43 days after he was suspended from the party.
Adams was suspended on January 2, by PDP Executive Officers for anti-party activities and for engaging in activities likely to bring the party to disrepute.
His suspension was ratified by the State Working Committee on January 4.
