SAN FRANCISCO, February 24, (THEWILL) – A suicide attack has occurred at the very busy Kano Line Motor Park along Zaria Road in Kano metropolis, killing at least 12 persons and wounding others, the police in Kano State, northwestern Nigeria said.
THEWILL gathered that two male suicide bombers executed the attack, which occurred late Tuesday afternoon at the bus park now known as Karota Motor Park.
The attack is coming barely five hours after a girl suicide bomber blew herself up at a busy bus park in Potiskum, Yobe State, killing at least 13 persons and wounding several others.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which however could be linked to the Boko Haram, an Islamic terrorist group seeking to Islamise northern Nigeria.
