June 28, (THEWILL) – A student of the Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, was shot dead during a protest on Monday.
THEWILL gathered that the deceased had joined his colleagues, who were protesting the hike in school fees, when security operatives made an attempt to disperse them forcefully.
When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna Command, Mohammed Jalike, said he had no details of the incident yet.
