January 14, (THEWILLd) – On Friday, the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, led a delegation to the official commissioning of the ‘Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Sports Club’ in Nnewi.
The event marked a new chapter in sports development and youth empowerment in the Nnewi South Local Government and Anambra State.
During the commissioning, Minister Dare praised Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, for his investments in youths and sports, specifically mentioning his decade-long involvement in the football industry and ownership of a stadium that once hosted a CAF Confederation Cup match as evidence of his passion and dedication to sports development.
The Chairman of former Federation Cup champions, FC Ifeanyi Ubah, expressed his gratitude to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, for his many years of support, including the ongoing Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Football Competition across 119 senatorial districts.
The commissioning of the sports club is a testament to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s commitment to promoting sports and empowering young people in Nigeria.
