December 30, (THEWILL) – The Senate has summoned security chiefs to brief it on the Christmas Eve attacks in Plateau State.
Senate resolutions were sequel to its consideration and adoption of a motion at a session presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Saturday.
Those summoned were the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Chief of Army Staff, Gen Taoreed Lagbaja; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar; Director-General, Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi; Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun; and the DG, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.
The security chiefs are to meet with the Senate in a closed session on a date to be announced.
