SAN FRANCISCO, October 28, (THEWILL) – The Senate has concluded the screening of 36 ministerial nominees sent to it by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The senate concluded the exercise on Wednesday with the screening of 5 nominees namely Okechukwu Enelamah (Abia State), Anwukah Anthony Gozie (Imo), Muhammed Musa Bello (Adamawa), Adamu Adamu (Bauchi) and Aisha Abubakar (Sokoto).
The Senate adjourned till Thursday morning (10.am) for further action on the yet to be confirmed nominees (18). The Senate would have to take a voice vote on each nominee to complete the approval process.
The senate had earlier approved 18 nominees and communicated same to President Buhari in a letter.
