BEVERLY HILLS, February 16, (THEWILL) – Leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today met with former President Goodluck Jonathan as the group’s Reconciliation and Strategy Committee continued its run of duty.
Former Senate President Bukola Saraki made this known via a tweet with a video accompanying that showed Jonathan exchanging pleasantries with the visitors.
“You are welcome,” Jonathan said as he received the delegation.
Saraki noted that the meeting was to resolve challenges in the party.
“As part of our efforts to listen to the concerns of key stakeholders across our great party, this afternoon, the @OfficialPDPNig Reconciliation & Strategy Committee is meeting with our immediate past President, H.E. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (@GEJonathan),” Saraki tweeted.
Jonathan was elected President in 2011 but lost his second-term bid to Buhari in 2015.
