Same Sex Marriage: Reject Alien Teachings, Practices That Oppose God’s Will – Olumba Obu Tells Christians

December 25, (THEWILL) – The Universal Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness, Olumba Olumba Obu, has urged Christians across the world to reject teachings and practices that oppose the will of God for mankind.

Leader Obu made the appeal in his 2023 Christmas message to children of God across the world.

Condemning Same-Sex Marriage, the BCS universal leader said anyone who does what is contrary to what Jesus Christ taught is propagating the doctrine of the devil.

“Anyone who does contrary to what Christ taught is fulfilling the doctrine of the devil and is not of Christ. God with His Christ has come to return mankind and creation to the state of righteousness, holiness and purity.

“Therefore, Christians should reject the introduction of alien teachings and practices that oppose God’s will for mankind,” he said.

Leader Obu maintained that what is happening today, where people go into all sorts of unimaginable relationships and so-called marriages with the full support of religious institutions and governments, are the manifestations of the end times as prophesied and recorded in 2 Timothy 3: 1-9.

He further admonished that “as we celebrate and remember the birth of Christ, I wish to remind humanity, especially Christians that same-sex marriage is not the teaching of Christ and should not be accepted in the House of God.”

He disclosed that as we celebrate this year’s Christmas Day, Mankind should know that hatred among people of different races, nations, and religious organisations and the battle for supremacy by one Christian creed over the other is clearly in contrast with the reasons for the birth of Christ.

He charged mankind to rethink the essence of Christmas and the lessons derivable from the celebrations.
