May 20, (THEWILL) – Nigerian filmmaker and Rita Dominic’s friend, Mildred Okwo, has dismissed rumour of crisis in the actress’s marriage to Fidelis Anosike.
Dominic and Anosike, the publisher of Daily Times Newspaper and founder of Fodio Media Group, tied the knot in April, 2022.
The wedding ceremony, which was the talk of town took place in Mbaise, Dominic’s hometown.
A few weeks after the wedding, it was rumoured that the union is in crisis over allegations of infidelity from Anosike’s part.
A blog had alleged that Anosike, “allegedly had an affair with Dominic’s best friend, who graced his wedding ceremony.”
On Thursday, the Twitter user retweeted the unverified claims which has continued to circulate on social media.
Okwo slammed the user for spreading “lies about people.”
She wondered why people will circulate content capable of attracting defamation suit.
“If they file a suit against you now for defamation for spreading lies about people, you will call them wicked”, she stated.
