May 27, (THEWILL) – Singer Ayoleyi Solomon, aka Reekado Banks, says he will switch careers from music to being a chef once he turns 38.
The music star, who has been signed to Mavin Record label in 2014 and left in 2018, spoke of switching careers in a recent Twitter post.
“Switching careers completely when I’m 38. I’m going to become a chef”,the singer’s tweet read.
The 28-year-old has continued to enjoy fame while working with other prominent hitmakers.
He went by the stage name Spicy, prior to his record deal with Mavin Records.
Reekado Banks was declared Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014.
won the highly coveted ‘Next Rated’ award at The Headies 2015.
His first studio album ‘Spotlight’ was released on September 1, 2016.
Reekado’s declaration comes months after Olamide, the rapper, unveiled what he said might be his last album.
