September 28, (THEWILL) – Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, professionally known as Reekado Banks, is bereaved.
The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, to announce the sudden death of his mother, Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon.
The 28-year-old did not reveal the cause of her death, but asked for prayer for his family.
“It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, confidant and friend. Dorcas Olubunmi Solomon, is survived by her husband, sisters, children and grandchildren.
“We implore the general public to keep us in prayers at this difficult time. The Solomon Family”, he stated in the post.
Some of his friends, colleagues and other entertainers have taken to the comment section to console the singer.
