Real Madrid Maintain Interest In Bellingham, Mbappe, Haaland

March 29, (THEWILL) – Real Madrid is still planning for the long term and is rumoured to be interested in Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham in 2023.

The 18-year-old Bellingham, has had a spectacular rise in recent years and is now a regular for both club and country. Unsurprisingly, the teenager has been the subject of a slew of transfer rumours for months.

Among the most held claims are those that tie him to a move to Liverpool, but there is a strong link to Real as well, as the La Liga giants target the improvement of several parts of their squad.

Real are interested in revitalising their midfield, which is now led by 36-year-old Luka Modric, 32-year-old Toni Kroos, and 30-year-old Casemiro, as a priority for the foreseeable future, though the club’s focus this summer remains elsewhere.

The main goal is Kylian Mbappe, and Real intend to pair him with Bellingham’s Dortmund teammate, Erling Haaland, which means money will be scarce to invest elsewhere.

As a result, Real Madrid are expected to begin negotiations on a deal for Bellingham now, with the England international moving to Spain in 2023.

The former Birmingham City midfielder will not be cheap to sign. He is under contract until 2025 and does not appear to have a release clause, which means Dortmund can ask for close to £100 million.

Along with Bellingham, Real are rumoured to be interested in Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, who might be a target this summer given the number of clubs interested in the Frenchman.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain have all been connected with Tchouameni, whose agent recently spoke up to deny that an agreement with Real Madrid had already been reached.
