BEVERLY HILLS, July 11, (THEWILL) – Spontaneous clashes over souvenir distribution disrupted a rally which was organised by supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
The rally, organised by the Buhari Youth Organisation and held on Tuesday, had hundreds of youths who profess support for the President trooped into the Eagle Square Abuja.
Trouble, however, started when some youths clashed over souvenir, thereby interrupting the program and causing some invited guests to depart from the venue.
However, the Director of Media and Publicity for the group, Oghenyi Okpoku, insisted that the gathering, aimed at gathering support for the President’s re-election bid, was a success.
