Presidential Aspirant Dies

September 19, (THEWILL) – Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, the National Coordinator of the Concerned Advocates for Good Governance (CAGG) and a presidential aspirant in the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) is dead.

Bamgbose died Friday evening reportedly after a brief illness.

He had declared his interest to run in the 2023 presidential election under the umbrella of his party, NNPP.

The deceased was the Principal Head, God’s Own Chambers, a legal team based in Aba, Abia State.

Reacting to the sad news, the Foundation for Environmental Rights, Advocacy and Development (FENRAD), whose legal team he headed, described him as a strong voice on matters of good governance and human rights advocacy.
