SAN FRANCISCO, October 30, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the fatal road accident at Mgbowu, in the Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State.
21 persons including the pupils of Presentation Nursery and Primary School, died in the accident.
A statement on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President On Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina condoles with families, kith and kin of the dead. The president prayed that God will grant them succor and spare the country of such tragedy in future.
President Buhari also commiserates with the Catholic Church of Awgu which runs the Presentation Nursery and Primary School that the pupils attended, and the Enugu State government.

The President enjoins vehicle owners to ensure roadworthiness, as initial reports attributed the accident to brake-failure by the truck involved.
