November 27, (THEWILL) – The much anticipated wedding between Debo Ogundoyin, Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, and his beautiful partner, Olamidun Majekodunmi took place on Saturday, November 27, 2021.
The wedding which was well attended by prominent Nigerians took place at All Saints Anglican Church, Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State capital. The reception took place at Polo Club, Eleyele Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event was witnessed by present and past governors, politicians, traditional rulers, judges and a host of others.
Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Oyo State deputy governor, Rauf Olaniyan, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Munta Abimbola, Oyo State High Court Judge, Justice Diran Akintola, former Speaker of Oyo State, Mrs Monsurat Sunmonu, first female minister of industry, Chief Mrs Nike Akande, Deputy National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP (South) Taofik Arapaja and a host of others were all in attendance.
Most guests adorned the signature turquoise blue aso-oke head-gear sold by the celebrant’s family.
The elated groom was garbed in royal blue suit while the beautiful bride, Olamidun was garbed in a gorgeous flowing white wedding gown.
The parents of the celebrants, Mrs Tina Ogundoyin and Dr & Mrs Majekodunmi were garbed in royal blue and maroon aso-oke.
Music maestro, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, more popularly known as King Sunny Ade dazzled guests with his melodious tune.
