September 17, (THEWILL) – The police in Delta State have laid off two officers for beating up one Broderick Omesan, a commercial tricycle operator in Agbarho town, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The two officers, Sergeant Felix Ebikabowei and Sergeant Ndubuisi Abazie, were attached to “B” Division Warri.

A Press Release by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, stated that last August 12, after close of work, the officers conspired to engage in Illegal duties along Estate Roundabout, Warri, and they accosted a “Keke-NAPEP” rider, 36-year-old Broderick Omesan, of Oviri Street, Agbaroh.
