BEVERLY HILLS, January 10, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Kwara Utd has suffered an automobile crash.
The accident occurred at Ibadan as the team, owned by the Kwara State government, was on its way back to Ilorin after their Bet9ja NNL Super Four tourney.
According to reports, some members of the team have been hospitalised with several degrees of injuries while the team bus is in a total mess after the unfortunate crash.
Although, some members of the team escaped unhurt, the degree of the injuries is yet to be ascertained.
The Ilorin-based team had a great season in the Nigerian National League (NNL) last season, which ensured they got promotion to the NPFL for the new season.
