PDP Worried Over Ill-Fated NAF Jet

BEVERLY HILLS, Aprill 04, (THEWILL) – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP)  has expressed its worry over conflicting reports and claims surrounding the ill-fated Nigerian Air Force fighter jet and its pilots, who put their lives on the line for the security of the nation.

The party in a press release signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, charged Nigerian gallant troops in the front not to allow the situation to dampen their spirits at this critical time.

It aded that PDP and all patriotic Nigerians were appreciate of the troops’ sacrifices in defending the nation despite all odds.

The PDP however urged the Nigerian Air Force to hasten its investigation of the matter so that Nigerians would be adequately informed of the exact fate that befell the jet and its pilots.

The party asked Nigerians to remain alert and continue to support and pray for the troops as they did battle in the fronts, adding that, every effort must be made to secure the nation against terrorists, insurgents and bandits.
