BEVERLY HILLS, March 18, (THEWILL) – Pastor of the Church of God Mission International,Laurie Idahosa, has apologised to veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie after she berated him for saying his mother married at the age of 15.
THEWILL had reported that Pete Edochie In an interview had advised women to find ways to discourage their husbands from cheating.
Pete dochie had stated that his mum got married at the age of 15 and was faithful to his father, her husband.
The interview generated lots of reactions as many Nigerians took to the micro-blogging platform to call out the veteran actor.
Joining the fray, Pastor Idahosa also called out the movie veteran as she took to her Twitter account. She wrote: “How can he laugh about her being ‘shy’ Oga, she was not shy. She was a victim of rape and was a child bride. She wasn’t respectful of his age, she was afraid for her life. Know the difference and adjust this story… start telling the truth!”
The mother of three has now apologised to the veteran actor saying that her tweet was misinterpreted and when she realised that the tweet was misinterpreted she took it down.
