June 07, (THEWILL) – Following the gruesome killings at St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, popular actress and comedienne, Bose Ogunboye, popularly known as Lepacious Bose, has expressed shock over the way Nigerians moved on quickly after the massacre.
Recall that many worshippers were confirmed dead, while several others sustained injuries, after suspected terrorists attacked St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Unhappy with the way Nigerians went about their daily activities moments after mourning the deaths, Lepacious Bose expressed disappointment over recent twerk videos, funny skits, gossip and jokes flying around the internet.
She stated that she is surprised about how Nigerians moved on fast, after screaming and crying over the Owo massacre.
“It’s like nothing happened! Like yesterday was a horror movie we all watched on TV and now it’s over.
“A man can go to a club alone without his wife and children, a wife can go for owambe leaving the children behind; you see church and mosque is mostly attended “together”, so technically some families have been wiped out yesterday!
“And you think your dancing video is more important? What you wore to a party last night is the issue? Who chop breakfast matters right now? No wonder they never take us seriously!!!
“Am I against posting stuff because of the incident? Of course not!!! I posted my workout video this morning naa; na the back to back happy videos that irks me! As in honour of the lost souls where is our solemnity?
“If we dedicate today to posts concerning our security in this country, it is not too much ooo! No one is safe in this war zone ooo! Something to show we remember!
“Like I said yesterday, if you live in Naija, eat well, don’t bother with long term investments, because this is all getting crazier by the day!
