March 19, (THEWILL) – Victor Osimhen led the way for Napoli as they dominated Torino in a 4-0 away victory.
The Nigerian international scored twice, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Tanguy Ndombele also found the net for the league leaders. With the win, Napoli stretched their lead to 21 points at the top of Serie A.
Osimhen broke the deadlock early on with a clinical header from a corner. Kvaratskhelia then doubled Napoli’s lead from the penalty spot after being fouled by Karol Linetty. Osimhen added his second goal shortly after the restart, and Ndombele sealed the win late on.
The result was never in doubt, as Napoli controlled the game from start to finish. With just nine games remaining in the season, it is only a matter of time before they are crowned champions-in-waiting.
There will be no other games until the other side of the international break when Napoli’s next test will come against Milan on April 2, while Torino face Sassuolo a day later.
