December 11, 2023 (THEWILL) – In a remarkable achievement for Nigerian football, three players from the Super Falcons and one player from the Super Eagles have been included in the women’s and men’s team of the year at the CAF Team of the Year Awards 2023.

Michelle Alozie, Osinachi Ohale and Asisat Oshoala, from the Super Falcons, along with Victor Osimhen from the Super Eagles, have been recognised for their outstanding performances on the field.

The Super Falcons’ trio of Alozie, Ohale, and Oshoala played pivotal roles in the success of the Nigerian women’s national team. Osimhen, who was recently recognised in Italy for his displays for Napoli, has also been a prolific goal scorer and a key contributor to the Nigerian national team’s success. His speed, agility, and clinical finishing have made him a formidable force in the attacking third.
