Gbadebo, one of the sons of Oba Adedapo Adewale Tejuosho, the Osile of Oke Ona Egbaland, got hitched last weekend to his fiancée, Aderonke Damilola Adedokun at a colourful wedding that had juju maestro, Chief Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi on the bandstand serenading guests. Gbadebo is the son of Yetunde, the second wife of the monarch.
The couple met seven years ago at Custodian and Allied Insurance plc where Gbadebo was a staff member and Aderonke an intern. They graduated from just being friends after three years of meeting to becoming on and off lovers. In 2021, they both got engaged followed by their introduction ceremony to their respective families in August 2022.
On Friday January 14th, they held their introduction ceremony at Classique Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos and the following day, they finally solemnized their relationship in the presence of friends and family members including Lanre Tejuosho, the monarch’s first son who was a two term Senator and is currently the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Lagos.
Also present at the ceremony was Funmi Tejusoho, a fourth term member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Mushin Constituency I and wife to Kayode Tejuosho, the third son of the monarch. While Aderonke is a graduate of Office Technology Management from Yaba College of Technology and is a Human Resources Personnel at IEF Frenchies Teach It, Lagos, Gbadebo is a graduate of Economics from Bowen University.
He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. He is an entrepreneur and runs GTej Media, a marketing communication company and GTej photo studio. He is also an insurance consultant and holds the chieftaincy title, Sabgua of Oke Ona of Egbaland.
