March 03, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has reacted to the constant assault against pupils in Nigeria. The mother of one has advised parents on how to take good care of their children in order to prevent assault.
She complained of how sick and tired she is because some parents are living in guilt as they feel they are using their hard earned money to destroy their children or wards when they give them quality education.
Her outburst is coming as a result of the high rate of rape victims among pupils in Nursery and Primary Schools.
The actress advised parents to teach their children about rape and how they shouldn’t allow anyone touch their bodies.
She added that parents should build a loving and trustworthy relationship with their children. And they should allow their children to talk to them about anything and everything, no matter how young they are.
She stressed that parents should normalise washing their children’s private parts every time. According to her, if parents should do as advised, they will be able to find their truth. They will also be able to engage their children as they wash their private parts every time.
She added that such steps are necessary because some schools employ rapists, cultists and sex offenders as workers in their school.
