BEVERLY HILLS, March 21, (THEWILL) – Yobe State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam, Saturday, dismissed speculations of a rift between him and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), blaming the inability of the APC Presidential candidate from campaigning in the state on insecurity.
Gaiman made the clarification while speaking at the grand rally of the APC in Damaturu, the state capital, which held at the August 27 Stadium.
He described as funny what he called the fabrication of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which , according to him, is targeted at scoring cheap political goal.
Gaidam, who said Buhari is a straight forward person that Nigerians will benefit from under his leadership, urged Nigerians to come out on March 28 to ensure victory for the APC at the polls.
Promising to take Yobe to the next level if e-elected as governor, Gaidam declared that he had done well despite the challenges caused by Boko Haram insurgency.
