Nigerian Singer, Slim Joe Is Dead

January 03, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Joshua Olonitan, better known as Slim Joe, has passed away at the age of 30.

The president of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Pretty Okafor, confirmed the death of the singer to the press.

Meanwhile, Raymond Gbaji, has taken to Facebook to pay tributes to the singer.

According to available information, Slim Joe died on Sunday.

THEWILL recalls that the singer earlier sought N15 million for surgery as he battled a kidney condition.

Slim Joe’s hit song ‘O Ti Yan Yan’, topped music charts in 2009.
