BEVERLY HILLS, February 23, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian military has announced the closure of the border between Nigeria and Cameroon in Adamawa State, as it moves to stop radical Islamic terrorists from crossing into Cameroon after attacks in Nigeria.

The military through its Brigadier General Rogers Nicholas of the 23rd Armoured Brigade said the closure will stop the extremists from using the West African state as a haven and launch pad for attacks.

Military sources say the Boko Haram maintain functional camps in Cameroon.
