Nigeria Reports Lowest COVID-19 Cases In Months As Infections Cross 55, 000

BEVERLY HILLS, September 6, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s confirmed coronavirus cases Sunday reached 55, 005 cases after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 100 new cases across 10 states, the lowest number in at least five months.

The country now has 43, 013 recoveries with 3 new deaths to bring that tally to 1057.

Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, topped with 39 new infections, while the FCT posted 22. Kaduna recorded 19, Oyo 7 and Ebonyi 6. See below for a full breakdown.
