Nigeria Reports Highest Single-Day COVID-19 Cases As Delta Leads

BEVERLY HILLS, July 1, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Wednesday reported 790 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus, it highest single-day entry till date. Delta State also reported 166 new cases, also its highest single-day log on record.

The previous single-day high for the country was 779, recorded on June 27, 2020.

The total confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria has now reached 26, 484, with 10, 152 recoveries and 603 deaths (13 new).

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, logged 120 new cases, Enugu 66 and the FCT 65. See below for breakdown.
