BEVERLY HILLS, July 28, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Tuesday reported 624 confirmed new cases of the deadly coronavirus with 561 previously infected people recovering after hospitalization.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 41, 804 persons have contracted the virus in the country till date while 18, 764 recoveries have been recorded with 868 deaths (8 new).
Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic reported 212 new cases, while Oyo posted 69. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC says it has tested 267, 842 samples as at July 27, 2020.
