Nigeria Officially Records 131 New Cases Of COVID-19

BEVERLY HILLS, September 16, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s official coronavirus cases Thursday reached 56, 735 after the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, reported 131 new cases across 18 States.

The NCDC put total recoveries at 48, 092 with 1, 093 deaths after it reported 2 new deaths.

Lagos State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recorded the highest number on Thursday with 45 new cases, while Kaduna and Plateau posted 17 apiece. The FCT added 16, Delta and Niger 6 and Kwara 5. See below for a full breakdown.

The NCDC says it has tested 482, 321 samples as at September 16, 2020.
