200 Boreholes In 200 Communities

The planned 200 boreholes in 200 communities represent the major humanitarian component of the 2026 campaign.

The organisers said the water projects would be implemented alongside other community-development interventions, building on previous activities involving potable water, schools, libraries, healthcare and public institutions.

ReachOut Nigeria began in 2007 and has since expanded from the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities into a wider programme combining religious outreach with community projects.

The October programme will also feature crusades, school and community reading outreaches, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, sports and youth activities.

A National Day of Prayer and 31 consecutive days of the ReachOut Nigeria Live Show are also planned.

A symposium scheduled for October 30 will focus on the initiative’s 20-year journey, its community interventions and developments.

The campaign will also extend to schools, offices, communities, barracks and public transportation systems, including buses, trains and aircraft.

The 20th edition coincides with Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, with activities expected to take place across the country throughout October.
