September 08, (THEWILL) – Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expressed worry, by what it described as the ‘near absence of governance in the state, owing to Governor Samuel Ortom’s preference for factional politics in the PDP, above the welfare of people of the state, which is the primary purpose of his mandate.
The party accused governor Orton of not only assuming the spokesperson of his colleague from Rivers State but has spent useful time, which should be committed to governing Benue junketing around the globe with Governor Wike.
According to APC, only last week, Governor Ortom again jetted out to London for another round of political meetings with Wike, which it said, has become a shame for people of Benue state that travelling with Wike has become an official activity of the Ortom administration.
“He has become a handyman for trips to Dubai, Paris, America and London. We are yet to decipher the benefit accruing to Benue people from Governor Ortom’s globetrotting with Wike.
