My Father Didn’t Want Me, He Gave My Mum Money To Abort Me – Susan Pwajok

December 09, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Susan Pwajok, has opened up about her traumatising childhood.

On the latest episode of her podcast, ‘Surviving Lagos’, with James Brown as her guest, the 19-year-old actress, who is best known as Blessing in ‘The Johnsons’ TV series, opened up about being unwanted by her father.

She recounted how she started paying her school fees from her first year in secondary school. Pwajok added that some of the challenges she has faced might be why she has some form of resentment towards men.

According to The Johnsons‘ star, the story she knows about her parents is that her father never wanted her. She said he gave her mother money for an abortion, but she ran away with the pregnancy and eventually gave birth to her.

“The story I know about me is that my father didn’t want me, so he gave my mother money to abort me, but, she didn’t,” she said.

She added that her growing up experience gave her a new perspective about men and she has been accused of having resentment against men.

She revealed that she can’t blame herself for having resentment against men because of the kind of experience she had while growing up.

Speaking further, the Johnson’s star revealed that she was depressed earlier this year from June to August, but got over it.

Pwajok made it known that she has attempted suicide a couple of times, but her friends helped her overcome the thought by constantly reminding her that the twenty years her mother suffered to raise her up would be in vain.

The actress made it known that she wants to make it in life and prove her father wrong. She added that her father would go on social media to do father of the year which he doesn’t deserve.

She accused him of not being a good role model because he has traumatised her.

When asked if she has met her father before, the movie act revealed that she has. Anytime she accidentally goes to the church he attends, she would pass by him while going to drop her offering, but they have never sat down one on one to engage in any discussion.
