June 11, (THEWILL) – Andy Murray defeated Nick Kyrgios in straight sets at the Boss Open in Stuttgart and reached his first tour-level final on grass in six years.

He began with a comfortable 4-1 lead with a second break of serve after Kyrgios incurred a game penalty for unsportsmanlike behaviour early in the second set.

On Sunday, the three-time Grand Slam champion, who has reconnected with longtime mentor Ivan Lendl, with whom he won two Wimbledon titles, will compete in his 10th grass-court final – and 70th overall.
