July 20, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemudia, has taken to social media to express her view about her colleagues, who derive pleasure in recording as they mourn their colleague.
According to her, some people will intentionally give their personal assistant their phones to record how they are crying or paying a condolence visit.
She advised that people should be sensitive and emotionally involved when it comes to issues like that.
She added that those who do such are not genuinely touched by the death of the person they are mourning. She labelled the act an offensive behaviour.
“I feel we can all drop our phones and cameras and really do the condolence visit we came for.
“Imagine me seeing someone recording himself or herself coming to my father’s house for condolence.
“I would have destroyed that camera. Let’s all be emotionally sensitive, emotionally involved and emotionally genuine. Not everything is content.
“Well, I guess we all grieve differently. If you are really touched, if it is not just a publicity sighting for you, you will not have the mind to tell your P.A to hold the camera.
“As I’m walking in be recording. Record everybody, as she is crying, record her.
“Then you sit down, edit, even put on a soundtrack. No, it’s offensive. Clout is good for business, but this one is not nice”, she wrote.
