Speaking on the development, spokesperson for the Service, Francis Enobore, told newsmen that at least 108 of the fleeing inmates have been recaptured.
“We have a total of 108 inmates rearrested. But as the day progresses, the figure will definitely increase. several processes have been activated to ensure all inmates are rearrested,” he said.
Enobore appealed to the general public to provide useful intelligence to security operatives to recapture the escapees.
Established in 2008, the Kabba MSCC had a capacity for 200 inmates, but at the time of the invasion, 294 inmates were in custody.
